This makes a hearty breakfast and reheats well.
2 1/2 cups oatmeal
1/4 cup oat bran
1/4 cup steel cut oats
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 cups milk
1/3 cup applesauce (one individual pre-packaged cup is 1/3 cup)
1/4 cup oil
2 cups frozen berry mixture
Mix together all the dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, beat egg and add milk, applesauce and oil. Combine wet ingredients with dry. Pour into a lightly greased 2 quart baking dish. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Stir in berries and bake an additional 15-20 minutes or until just barely golden on top. Serve with milk or cream.

Pancakes
1 cup flour
1 T. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1 T. sugar
stir
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
2 T. oil
Mix all together. Cook on Griddle. cakes 6-8 pancakes. Batter will be fairly thick and lumpy. Add a tiny bit of milk to loosen.
DOUBLE RECIPE

Aunt Pat's Dip
2 cups cottage cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise (best foods)
1 T minced onion (or more) 1/4 large onion
1 T. dried Parsley
2 T dill weed
1/2 t. celery salt
1/4 t onion powder
Pinch sugar
Mix together and set in fridge. Best if it can sit for a couple of hours before serving.
